Pattern Review ~ Harper The Owl by Abby Glassenberg

A few week ago I was privileged to test a new pattern from one of my favourite designers – Abby Glassenberg.

I’d seen a few sneak peeks of this adorable little owl on social media, so when Abby invited me to test it for her, I jumped at the chance to check this little cutie out.

Harper is a quick and easy palm size project, a great last minute gift idea, for example, replace the toy stuffing with poly-beads for a cute paper weight, and it would make a great gift for special teach, or a pin cushion for a favourite crafty aunt.

It would also be a great scrap buster project to do with the kids on the weekend.  It can be either machine sewn or hand sewn.  You could make a whole flock of them in all sorts of colours to brighten up any room.

Harper is the first printed pattern by Abby and is also available as a kit.

Bye for now …

    1. Thanks, it was a fun pattern to test. Abby makes really cute patterns & I’m loving her book – ‘Stuffed Animals – concept to construction’, so many great designs. I have just finished making the lion — now to create my own design using these newly learned design principles 🙂
