Sarah Starfish ~ A New PDF Sewing Pattern.

Sarah is a cute little Starfish rattle. She makes a quick and easy DIY baby shower gift or a gift for any time.  Her arms are great for small hands to hold and her large cartoon style eyes gives her a fun personality that will capture the imagination.

This pattern takes approximately 30 minutes to make and is a great ‘scrap buster’ project.

I have included the two most popular instruction styles in this pattern – quick step-by-step written instructions for advanced sewist as well as a step-by-step photo tutorial for the beginner sewist.

There is also a clickable table of contents as well as links to other resources available on my website.

It is also designed for people in the growing handmade industry who wish to sell the toys they make (Please see my Policies page for more information on my copyright NittensAndPatches_Sarah-Starfish_Pattern-cover-4arequirements ).

This is an original sewing e-pattern to make a stuffed toy starfish.

What others are saying about Sarah …

I have my patterns tested by some lovely ladies; here’s what a couple of them had to say about this pattern.

This little starfish is so cute. She was really easy sew. It only took we about 30 minutes from start to finish. My daughter drew her mouth on when I wasn’t home, so I will be making another one. This one came out really cute anyway. Thank you very much! I have already cut out another one and I’m  going to sew it up tomorrow. …

Thank you again. It was really fun! [Fran McGuire]

Congratulations on the pattern and instructions. Everything worked so good. …  You did a great job and I get the feeling that I didn’t have a lot of work testing for you. Everything is already well done. … My Sarah Starfish  did a little trip to the beach today and tomorrow she will be donated to charity. I will have to make at least two more, because my own kids loved her sooooo much!

Thanks for having me testing this one too,

  1. Oh my gosh, that is so cute. Remember the story of the man walking the beach and throwing the stranded starfish back into the water. And a passer-by says it doesn’t matter because you can’t save them all. And the man picks up a starfish and says – but it matters to this one. 🙂 I see those toys and think of all that love. What a great pattern!
