Humpty Dumpty No Longer Legless.

A spokesperson for all  the King’s horses & all men, denied rumors today that there was a go slow order on  putting Me Dumpty together again.  The spokesperson said, “Mr Dumpty’s construction is progressing as well as can be expected. He is no longer legless or armless, I really don’t understand what all the fuss is about, sometimes things happen, & sometimes things don’t happen.”

I have been busy making up some move cute vintage style embroidered Hoop Art …

This first one is an adorable little grey kitten in a pretty pink dress & purple flowers … so cute    🙂

 Next I have this sweet little brown puppy in light blue overalls.  

Next is this adorable little bunny in his bright red jacket.

And lastly, this cute yellow duck in a bright blue jacket & red scarf.   All of these hand embroidered Hoop Art pieces can be purchased separately, but would also make up a great set.  All are available now at my Etsy store …

 I have bought several new patterns lately, one is ‘Monsters Mix & Match Plushies‘.  These funky guys  are the sweet cuddle kind on monsters – not at all scary.  The first one I’ve made is this guy listed on my Madeit shop …

He has three more friends who will all be available very soon, so keep an eye out for them   🙂

Next week I will be starting on Project 2 from Stuffed Animals.  This one uses wool felt, something I have never used before & something that is not available locally.  Thankfully I was able to find a great supplier on Craftumi … Bumble Bee Designs.  Petrina, who owns & operates Bumble Bee Designs has a great range of bothe 100% wool felt & good quality wool blend felt at very reasonable & competitive prices.  Petrina has been very helpful, with lots of great advice on how to sew with felt for the best results as well as some very interesting information about the differences between the 3 main types of felt – 100% wool, wool blend & acrylic.  I am looking forward to experimenting with felt; there are so many beautiful & cute patterns available now using felt  including ‘The Owl & The Pussycat‘  from While She Naps on Etsy which is another on the new patterns I have bought recently.
