I have been super busy the last couple of weeks taking loads of product photos – editing them – writing descriptions & adding them to the www.madeit.com.au/NittensandPatches store. I currently have 23 items listed with one more to go – for now 🙂
I’m not as prepared for Christmas as I wanted to be, the Small Business Management Course I took through BRACE & the NEIS program kept me very busy. I did manage to get a few things made over that time but not as much as I had planned. Also I had planned to start listing things MUCH earlier than this, but as the words of the song made famous by Doris Day say “… Que Sere Sere – whatever will be will be …”. Getting all bothered about it isn’t going to change things, & there’s always next year … Easters … Mothers Day …
So … who’s new at Nittens & Patches. Well there is Frosty the Snowman – well 3 actually with either a red, purple or green scarf. Their faces are hand embroidered & their scarves are made from fleece, just like Frosty himself – so cuddly 🙂
Another cuddly chap is Barney … all 8 of him in brown, tan, light purple, dark purple, red, raspberry, green & light green. They all have hand embroidered faces & ‘button’ on there tummies & ric rac around their arms & legs. Click here to see more ‘Barney’s.
Charlie the Gecko is another new friend at Nittens & Patches. He is made of purple & bright green fleece with big booglie eyes. He is so cute & cuddly – I love his big squishy feet.
There are some familiar face back with all new Christmas picture – Benson, Sage & Steve. These cute little guys come with a scarf, hat & hand warmer. They sit up really well & look great with or without the accessories.
Also Payton the platypus, Darcy the pink flying dinosaur & Shelby the purple dinosaur are back with new Christmas Pictures – so huggable 🙂 . Click here to see more of these guys. 🙂
So other new things include a set of hand knitted make-up remover wipes. These come in a set of 7 – one for each day. There a 4 of these sets available (there is only 1 set listed, but if you would like more, just send me a message & let me know.
There is also a set of 3 hand knitted wash-cloths. These have been done in the same pattern as the make-up wipes, so they would go well together as a matching set – maybe as a joint gift from a couple of people to someone special.
Now for some thing different … some coin purses. There is 2 styles, the blue & white one is a nice compact one. Made from cotton & lined with saturn lining, it is approximately 12cm x 13cm. It is the perfect size to carry in a handbag with those little nick-knacks or ‘most-have’ essentials we all carry around in our bags. The other 2 are a little bigger mostly at the base which is about 6cm making them a bit more roomy. They are both made from cotton & lined with poly/cotton lining in coordinating colours. They are a great size to carry a bit of change &/or a credit card, a (small-medium) mobile phone & the keys – perfect for those quick tips to the shops when you don’t want to bother with a big bag. My favourite is the middle one – I love the fun picture of the ladies all over it 🙂
And last but not least … this very cute little child’s bucket hat. Don’t you just love the print! 🙂 The size is small – 48-51 cm which suits most children between 1 & 2 years of age.
Before I finish … an update on the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes – mine were sent to Thailand 🙂 … I hope they made a couple of young people happy & I look forward to doing it again next year.
Well … the natives are getting hungry around here so I need to go now …
Love Mignon & Georgie 🙂
